This week WWE is taping 2 weeks of Monday Night Raw. The show was taped a week early due to cost cutting measures as the plan is to bring in the TV crew for a live episode of SmackDown on October 1st, so they sacrificed next Monday’s Raw being live. Natalya won a Divas battle royal to become the new number one contender to the Divas Title. Eve, Maryse, Natalya, Gail Kim, The Bellas, Tamina, Jillian, Melina, and Alicia Fox were the participants. Laycool came out last to sit in on commentary. The Bellas teamed against Jillian, Tamina and Melina tried to throw out Jillian. Eve and Maryse fought in a corner.
Melina was eliminated first. Tamina eliminated Gail Kim. Tamina was eliminated by Eve. The Bellas baseball slid at Jillian and Alicia Fox, but they missed and eliminated themselves. Alicia eliminated Eve. Jillian, Alicia, and Natalya were left. Alicia eliminated Jillian. Natalya, from on the ring apron, flipped Alicia Fox out of the ring. Natalya won to become the No. 1 contender.
